Low-Cost Educational Robots

Haptic paddles are a low-cost way to teach system dynamics at the undergraduate level, which have been used at many universities throughout the country. We added some design features, produced an open-source design, and performed a formal evaluation of the effectiveness in teaching key educational concepts. This project is the perfect example of integrating research and education. Or more specifically, applying our research skills to education.
